These linen type pants would be a nice looking change from jeans on a hot day if only they cost less. Had the fabric generously given to the length been spared maybe cost could be cut.Really they are too expensive for what they are, and then there’s the extra fabric at the crotch too.The fabric is scratchy, as if over-starched. The khaki color is an odd shade - more in the green/ yellow family than beige. Maybe “khaki” is supposed to be like that. Not great with red shirt. Don’t think they are see-through but not wearing neon underwear just in case, as the long crotch is a high-light.The size medium is at least one size too big on a 5’1” and 120 lb. shape. The legs are wide on the entire leg, palazzo style, and long, especially at the crotch.Airy. Very airy. Lots of airy-ness.Suggest going down a size in these pants but that may not help in this style because of the cut at the crotch. Rolling them at the waist helps to shorten but pulls them up into a v. Awkward.Unfortunate because the wide elastic waist band lays flat right at the waist. In fact, the pants fit a 28” waist nicely, so if the crotch fit better these black pants might have been cute.Still, probably not worth the cost. Even for the cooling effect. Of wind. At the crotch. :)
