I work in just about all phases of construction from one job to the next. Finding clothing that is comfortable, functional, and durable is a real challenge. I typically buy either double knee carhartt, or anything cheap & easy to replace (dickies). Wile the latter is generally more comfy, the former is more durable. Hard to find both in a pair of pants. Until these x1600’s... these have this far proven to be very comfortable over multiple days without washing (not stretching out and falling off my waste). They have generous pockets and are well thought out as far as placement. The hammer loop is ample in size to accommodate any hammer in my arsenal and I’m able to slip them through using just one hand. Which is great. Carhartt seems to size the loop just big enough that you’ve got to use one hand to hold the loop open and the other to force your hammer through. And good luck if you’re framing overhead and need one hand to hold material and the other to pull your hammer. These pants remedy any such problem. I’m able to walk around comfortably with multiple blades/screwdrivers/wrenches/etc... in the pockets... with a hammer and DeWalt 20v drill hanging off and they still don’t come off my waste. I don’t wear belts, so that’s a benchmark for me. I’ve only had one issue wherein the right front thigh pocket zipper sticks in the open position. But blacklader responded to this on my IG immediately in an effort to right the matter. What more could you want in a brand? Excellent product and matching customer service. This takes any sting of shelling out $100+ dollars for these pants. IMHO
